This Old, Old, OOOOOLLLD HOUSE!

So here I am.....all alone in my old house. I have wanted to be alone for quite some time. But now that I am, what do I do? Do I finish painting the shutters (interior)? Do I finish the boys' room? Should I start on the bathroom upstairs so I'll have every room either begun or in the process? People are now convinced I have ADD....but really I just like that each room has some proof that I have started it...and some new smells even if they are paint smells.

Have to go buy more paint...Randy's least favorite sentence that comes out of my mouth is "we need more paint". He says, "We have a dozen or more cans in the garage." Well, they are half used and the colors of the other house that I am tired of. I tell him that I am saving us tons of money by doing it myself and he should be grateful but I don't think he is convinced :)

Anyway, back to being alone....I did clean the kitchen already...with that little magic erase spongey thingy and I've done two loads of clothes...and cleaned one bathroom. Rachel is at work with Daddy and the other kids are at their dad's house for the week.

Okay, so here I go. I'll clean the living room, do more laundry, go buy paint and work on the boys' room. I'm doing it as a surprise...their favorite color-sky blue with a silver mantle! Yep...silver...they'll either love it or hate it.

Party Time!

Last night we had John's thirteenth birthday party....it was so fun...we have a new pizzazz pizza maker (thanks to Checo) and we made five pizzas and then ate a whole bunch of cake/brownies...drank sodas (WITH caffeine, unusual for me to let the kids have caffeine)....and they played Halo 2 until midnight. They were soooo happy!

I have a baby...puppy....we feed her with a newborn bottle and puppy replacement milk. She isn't quite as noisy as a real baby but she's pretty darn cute! Hlope to post pictures soon!
